    Hi Sonny Jr.

I don't know how often it happens with Animate specifically, but there have been on and off occurrences of the "stopped working" error with a variety of Adobe apps since CC2017 was launched. Here are some things that have worked for other folks.

    1. If you're on Windows 10, it may be you're missing one of the elements necessary to open the program. Try updating the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable according to the directions here: Error MSVCR110.dll opening Adobe Creative Cloud apps in Windows 10.

    2. Also on Windows 10, check to make sure you don't have Lavasoft software/plug-ins installed as it has been known to cause issues with other CC2017 programs like Photoshop: Photoshop crashes with Lavasoft Chrome extension installed. I don't know if Animate is also affected, but it's worth checking.

    3. If these don't work or you're not on Windows 10, you can always try the ol' uninstall, clean, reinstall routine—Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems— though there's no guarantee and you're on a time crunch. You can also Contact Customer Care if you need one-on-one help.

Finally, if all else fails, you can always step back to CC2015 until you get through your homework at least: Download and install Creative Cloud apps previous versions.

Let us know how it goes!

You're welcome! Did you get it working again? If you did and you don't mind sharing the solution, it could help other people with the same issue.
