Adobe Animate CC 2021 Crashing On Startup

Hi everyone,

I am having an issue with Animate CC 2021. I'm running on a macbook pro 15-inch, 2017 with macOS Catalina (Version 10.15.7). Each time I try to start Animate, it crashes already at the splashscreen. I've tried to uninstall and re-install the app, even deleted all prefrences (I've never opened the app before), but it's still not launching.

What should I do?

click contact us (in the lower right)
in the chat field, type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human
