Adobe Animate delete button

Hi

In the latest version of Animate (I didn' use if for a year) when you're on the scene and select something, then hit the delete key, it deletes only from where your pointer is on the timeline. Very annoying.

Same thing when you want to Paste something... it does only where the pointer is.

Can we get back like it reacted before ?

THanks
Mitch

@peaxw45183085  Thanks for reaching out to us. Autokeyframing mode must be enabled in your case.

In Autokeyframe mode if an object is deleted then a blank keyframe will be inserted at playhead position and object will only be deleted from that point onwards. Object will remain as it is before the playhead position.

Please try disabling the Autoekeyframe mode from the timeline and check whether it works for you ?

    Thanks!

Trying to follow this also - are you selecting the object on the stage or are you selecting the keyframe on the timeline in the layer the asset resides?

i don't see any difference in behavior of the default shortcut delete key:  it removes the object from the keyframe where the object is selected which, as expected, removes the object from all non-keyframes immediately after the keyframe (up to the next keyframe, if there is one).
