Question

Adobe animate file reports "file may be damaged" when opened.

I am working on a very big commission, and need was right on track to finish by my deadline. I worked on it for roughly 10 hours today, periodically saving, closing, and making sure autosaves were on. My software was lagging because it is a big file, so I saved it properly, and closed it. When I reopened it, the project would not load properly because it was "damaged"

I already checked auto recovery, but that wouldn't work, I already tried the winrar method, But that didnt work either. the file is not 0 kbs, and is still its original kbs, which from what I've heard is a good sign.

I really am not in the mood to hear what I should have done differently, I just want to know if it's fixable, because I do not have the time to redo the work I did.

If you want the animate file, let me know.

Thank you!

rename your fla to a zip

use winrar to repair the zip

rename the repaired zip to a fla

try opening the repaired fla in animate.
