Adobe animate glitch

I have this issue with adobe animate where sometimes when i draw something and press Ctrl or switch to the eraser a window pops up saying "Animate is processing strokes please wait" and the it will erase what i just drew. cans someone help me with this please?

i've never seen that error message, and from what i do know from your message and previous messages from you, it's not possible for you to explain step-by-step and way to duplicate the issue so others can see if they have the problem, too.
