Question

Adobe Animate had an error saving my file, and now I can't open it. (Even the backup file is ruined)

Yesterday, I was working on the assets file for something, but then, the program gave me an error when trying to save the file, and even the backup, and I tried closing and reopening Animate to fix that error, and now there's another problem. I. CAN'T. OPEN. THE. FILE. Not even the "RECOVER" one. I spent a lot of time making that file and I don't want to start over. I tried repairing the file using WinRAR, but it doesn't work. I tried checking the tmp folder, there were no previous versions there. I tried checking "AutoRecoverFilenames.txt", that file is empty. None of the methods I've seen in the forums worked.

Please, restore my broken file to a previous version, or should I say, help me repair it.

Didn't you read the post? It says "I tried repairing the file using WinRAR, but it doesn't work."

then you'll need to learn to save your files with increasing version number appended so you don't lose significant work in the future.
