ADOBE ANIMATE HELP

Im a newbie to Adobe animate and have faced a problem that when I use free transformation tool and alter the size of any shape (height of width) both sides of the shape will expand when im only dragging one side.

I haven't been able to find anyhting online about how to alter this if anyone knows how to change this and could tell me it would be appreciated thanks!!!
