Adobe animate homescreen not showIng

Hello i use adobe animate for over 3 years now. But today i turned on my pc and started adobe animate but the home screen that should show all my projects and stuff is black. There's nothing there i restarted my pc, restarted the app, tried to reset it nothing is working. The reason why this is a problem is because at the homepage it sorts my projects by latest and shows them to me because the files are deep in my pc somewhere i cant open them manually. Please tell me if its a serius thing or am i just being stupid and there's a simple solution this entire time.
