Adobe animate save cant be found

Question

I was worrking on a new animation for like 4 hours and i saved like 15 minutes before the problem. I FINISH IT and then it has a glitch ive had before. I was trying to look around to find out why it happend online but when i came back to the tab adobe was closed for some reason and when i opend it again my project was just gone i looked all over my computer for the save file but cant find it. this is very frustrating as i just started using this program yesterday and ive already lost a 4 hour peace of work. (yes i already checked the auto save files and didnt see it)

1. where did you check for the autosave file?

2. search your computer for .fla files

3. learn to save your work periodically with increasing version number appended. for example, for project1.fla, save as project1_v000.fla, project1_v001.fla etc. close and reopen the latest version to confirm it's uncorrupted. only then can you delete the previous versions. (and don't save over that confirmed version.)
