Adobe Animate - Track number of clicks in Html5 Canvas via Google Tag Manager
I have created an Adobe Animate Html5 Canvas, interactive presentation, which will be presented on a booth touch screen, accessed through a URL. There are two start buttons on the homescreen 'Start Presentation 1' and 'Start Presentation 2'. I have connected Google Tag Manager (GTM) to the URL/index.html (site does not have any sub pages). I would like to track how many people click each start button. GTM is recognising a click but not identifying the element being clicked so I can't track each button.
Is there a way to setup individual Click Tags on the buttons or some alternative code so GTA can recognise it and I can track number of clicks?
Tracked code here from GTA:
{
event: "gtm.click",
gtm: {
uniqueEventId: 6,
start: 1656427809020,
element: "HTMLCanvasElement: html > body > div#animation_containe" +
"r > canvas#canvas",
elementClasses: "",
elementId: "canvas",
elementTarget: "",
elementUrl: ""
}
}
