Adobe Animate won't publish animation: error line 682 out of memory

On about 9/26/2023, Adobe Animate suddenly failed to publish my animation. Publishing processes until about 77%, then a secondary menu pops up saying something to the effect of "Error on line 682, javascript out of memory".

I tried publishing a different animation, and initially i had success, but after trying to publish the first animation again, the latter animation will no longer publish, throwing the same error. Since the problem began, updating javascript resulted in one successful publishing of the original animation, but no troubleshooting has resulted in successful publishing since.

Although a similar problem seems to have affected other users throughout the years, I have been able to find no solution online.
