Adobe cs6 not exporting swf

I don't know what it is but I am working with someone in cs6. I need to use cs6 because of as2. They send me the files remotely via dropbox

The swf simply will not export, no matter how long I leave it. It just stays on the "Exporting movie" green loading bar for eternity. It's not even a big file, like 24 mbs.

we get weird symbols sometimes like inerpolation#x and "gylphs" my partner says they don't know what they are. They also work in a different language cs6, french apparently. 

I definitely need a way to export this project so any help is appreciated. I don't know why it gets stuck in export, I have to end task in order to shut it down  

Please help if you can.
