Question

Alpha gradient banding

Hello

I've created a shape that has a gradient fill. From 100% alpha to 0% alpha. When I overlay it on a solid of the same colour, I can see banding from where it starts to graduate.

I want to tween the shape. But the effect I'll get is of the banding area in the shape moving...

The image is attached for reference.

Any suggestions, please?

did you convert the shape to a movieclip and then tween the movieclip?

Hello. I can see the gradient when it's just a shape, and also as a graphic symbol.

to tween your shape, you must first convert it to an object. eg, movieclip (or graphic).  then apply the tween.
