An error occurred opening file Adobe Animate 2021

So I'm working on this character sprite for someone, and I''ve been working on it for the past 1 and a half how. The problem I'm having here is that when I try to open the file, I get a message with "An error occurred opening file (file name)." I had auto recovery on as well, but no recovery was found in my folders.
