Animate 2019 crashing when close any file within Animate and when closing Animate

Animate 2019 is crashing on my MacBook Pro with macOS Sierra version 10.12.6 when I close any file and when closing Animate itself. I have run the creative cloud repair process, but that didn't help. Dreamweaver also intermittently crashes when uploading files. Any ideas what I should try next?
