Animate 2020 lagging - converting symbols / pasting frames

Hey there,

Just wanted to know if anyone else has used Animate 2020 on macOS High Sierra (10.13.6) and noticed it's really slow when Converting to Symbol or Pasting Frames. I hit Enter on the Convert to Symbol dialog or release the mouse after dragging a frame and then have to wait 15 SECONDS while the coloured wheel spins for it to do something that used to be instantaneous.

Normally I use Animate 2019 because I really prefer the compactness of the interface, but I like the Fluid Brush in 2020. And I would update to the latest version of Animate but I would need to upgrade to macOS Mojave and I'm worried some of my other software would be affected.

Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this lagging in Animate 2020 or is this one of those bugs that was only corrected in a later version?

    There was a bug like that in Animate 2020, it was fixed in 2021 https://helpx.adobe.com/animate/kb/fixed-issues.html

    So it looks like you either have to upgrade or stay with 2019.
