Animate 2020 running slow on iMac (late 2015)

Hey community!

I am having a bit of trouble... I am trying to create a quick rough animation, and when I draw with a intuos Pro it severly lags, and when I go to playback my work it plays at 9-12 fps... My scene set-up is super simple, no BG just rough sketches. The scene is set to 24fps.

I dont know if this is a graphics card issue or a program bug, but I am getting very frustrated! I have even reinstalled the program. Any help would be apprecitated!

Have you tried setting the Get Info box for Animate to "Open in Low Resolution"? Sometimes that helps me with getting smoother playback.

To do this: Highlight the Animate application in your Applications folder, type Command-I, and tick the box "Open in Low Resolution" box in the info dialog.
