Animate 2021 fails to open

Just updated to Animate 2021 via my creative cloud account on my MacOS 10.15.7 (MacBook Air). The updated app will not open. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the An 2021. I also restarted my Mac.

The problem persists.

Any similar experiences? Any advice?

Is there a way to uninstall 2021 and then install Animate 2020? I found 2018, but I'd rather not go back that far.

    Yes, I am having the exact same issue, can't find any sollution

    Aha! I had never explored the ellipses by the Animate "install" button on Creative Cloud.

    From there, I can install the previous version. Near term problem solved.

    But about that issue with Animate 2021 quitting…

    I'm still curious where my problem lies. Is it in my system locally; or is it affecting others?

    Hi

    There's a few others reporting the same problem. Myself included.

    One of them is here and Adobe mentioned it may be a font issue?
