animate 2022 frame selection bug

okay. im an avid user of adobe animate (it may not say on my account as im signed out of animate)
HOWEVER when i started working today i was working fine then SUDDENLY as i try to select an object to move it to make a new keyframe the 
WHOLE.
DAMN.
FRAME.
SELECTS.
and ive never seen this and i want awnsers.
AND DONT EVEN BOTH TELLING ME TO USE KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS BEWCAUSE SCREW THOES i dont use thoes anyways and never will
so tell me how to fix this or i swear to god im taking the source code, editing it so its no longer legally your from the version i have, then im uploading it FOR FREE 
(im very mad and i have deadlines i need awnsers ASAP)
