animate camera feature and after effects

I've completed my animation using the new camera tool and exported my swf. Then I opened After effects and imported my swf. There's no camera movement. Why? And how can I render my animation with camera movements?

I believe that camera movement is done using code behind the scenes, and AE can only render animations. Using an image sequence doesn't include the camera movement either. Exporting to Video seems to be the only way to get the movement into AE.

Hello,

I have just come across the same problem and I was wondering if you sorted it out and how.

Many thanks,

L

what if you publish a swf?  does the camera move in the swf?  does the camera move when testing in animate pro?

Yep. The camera moves when playing the swf standalone. But After Effects doesn't recognize it when imported.

i don't use after effects so hopefully someone else that uses both animate and ae will check this.
