Hi there,

I'm trying the new camera tool in Animate CC 2017, it's pretty cool though it's quite basic. But I have a big problem with it: after several uses, my scene finally moves to the top left, and is not centered animore… Actually, the only parameters for the camera are the zoom and the rotation. Nothing for coordonates, it's all manual with the tool. In fact, this new tool seems to have been very quick made, it's too bad and I hope that the coming update will fix the bugs and make it a great tool.

One other thing, when exporting the swf file for import in After Effects, the camera zoom and rotation disapear…

The camera features seem to be code controlled movements. After Effects doesn't know about code in your SWF. You could make the animation in an ActionScript FLA and then do File/Export/Export Video... to get something usable over to After Effects.

Hi, to be able to see all your camera movements after exporting as swf, you will need to download "swivel", it's a converter tool that convert from swf to any other video format, you can convert your swf to quicktime MOv, MPG4 etc...

Also when working on animate cc, make sure activate your camera tool before placing any object on your screen so it's easy to control the position of your object, but if it happened that you use camera tool later, that might change the position of your object, so to fix that you need to select camera tool on your tool panel or press C on your keyboard and then place the cursor on your work area(where your are animating) and then you will be able to drag and position the object back on the screen by using your mouse, please note your camera tool must selected.

Look at the View menu, and try checking Pasteboard.
