Animate CC "A JavaScript error occurred"

This happens every time I try to open a file. When I click 'OK' the same message pops up again, so I'm unable to close the program. Rebooting my computer didn't work. Help, please? I'm using Animate CC 2017 on Windows 10.

    restart your computer and retry opening animate cc.
