Animate CC + Air: Application Loader. Error ITMS-90168

I made a new app with Animate CC 2017 and AIR 23.0. After successfully creating the ipa file I tried uploading the file with Application Loader 3.1 and got the following error: Error ITMS-90168: “The binary you uploaded was invalid.” How do I know what the problem is?

They are up to 3.6 now, and that error could happen when using an old version. I can't see a download page for that, so you would just need to get a later version of Xcode.
