Animate CC Camera Problems

Whenever I use the camera tool in a scene and then switch to another scene to use the camera tool again, it messes up the camera configuration of the previous scene and makes it end with a wrong camera positioning on said scene (not centering, zooming on the right elements or going off stage) How can I fix this?

    Hi,

Fix for this bug is now available with the latest Animate update (16.5.1.104). You can install this update using the Creative Cloud desktop application. Please try it out and let us know if you still face any issues.

If the update does not show automatically, click on the gear icon at top-right corner of the Creative Cloud application and choose 'Check for App Updates'.

I might have had the camera disabled while switching scenes. I will give it a try later at night to see if it makes any difference and follow up with this post. Thanks!

Does the problem occur only while opening a previously closed file with camera disabled? In that case, the workaround suggested in kglad's post will stop the problem to occur till we fix the issue.

However, if you are able to reproduce the issue during change in scene(without file close and reopen), please share the fla file and video elaborating the steps.

    Thanks.

this was an adobe staff response to previous camera positioning problems:

We are able to reproduce the issue and working to fix it. In the meantime, as a workaround, if you are using camera in a project, please make sure it is enabled while save and closing the fla file. Please don’t save a fla file with camera in disabled state.
