Animate CC can't save anymore

Hi there!

Since a couple of day I got problems saving my FLAs in Animate CC. Whatever I do... edit an file, oder start a new one... Animate won´t save the file with an error message "Could not save as XXX" and "Try to save to another place". All files will be overwritten and have the size of 1kb. I remember it startet with upgrading to High Sierra a couple of weeks ago. I had the problem short after upgrading - but a simple Animate CC restart worked out. But now this doesn't work anymore...

I really need help because I have jobs to get done...

Hey Flo,

Sorry for the issues you are dealing while saving the file.

My first suggestion would be to first try the solution provided our expert above.

In case if it still doesn't work then you may try the one mentioned here - Animate unable to save document

I have been able to fix this problem, and a whole bunch of other issues that appeared out of nowhere on my mac, by resetting permissions for my Home directory.

I followed the instructions here:

Wanted to follow up on the question I just posted since i found an answer on another thread. I was able to save to Animate if I used "save as." Don't understand why it wouldn't "save" to animate, but only to desktop, but I was able to save it, so catastrophe averted.
