Animate CC closes on startup

So, I just let windows 10 update, and now Animate CC won't work. It starts, the loading window comes up and then it closes. I get no error window, it just closes itself. I've done a clean install of the creative cloud app, I've restarted, I've run as admin, I've set permissions, I've run the trouble shooter, and nothing works.

Is this happening to anyone else? I can't find any answers to this... !

Same problem, I've uninstalled and reinstalled adobe cc and animate, changed permissions, running as admin, run trouble-shooter, restarted several times.... been trying to get this all summer.

Message comes up saying " Adobe Animate CC 2018 has stopped working"

You said you have done a clean install of the creative cloud app, but have you uninstalled and reinstalled animate cc?

I did, a few times.

I did managed to...kind of fix it. I can use it now, but I had to revert the windows update. Oh well.

Yes, I got same problem as you described. the recent windows 10 update messed up animate on my pc, splash screen shown, 1 second of grey screen/mainscreen and then closed immediately without error message.

update:

I tried it with my laptop, with windows 10 before the recent update and it work perfectly. I updated the windows and BOOM it doesn't work anymore.

so yeah, the windows update 1803 is the culprit here.

Hope microsoft team or adobe fix this issue ASAP!!!
