Animate cc won't play

Hey, so I haven't seen this issue around but in the program I can't get animate to play my scene, it's not a symbol or anything, just the scene altogether. I noticed that this starts after rotating the canvas and the only way to get it to play the scene is to save, close and then reopen. It's rather inconvenient so I was wondering if there was any way to fix this outside of restarting flash.
