Animate crashes again on import

I uninstalled and reinstalled last week when this happened - and now its at it again!!!

Do I just need to un and re every day??? Animate 2023 and Win 10

if so, something on your computer (eg, av, antimalware, cleaner, defragger etc) is corrupting some animate file(s), most commonly a preferences file

Thanks but how would I even start to find it? I've run restoro which fixed somethings but still Animate crashes on import. Maybe I need to go back to 2022

that is difficult.

first, start by making sure a reinstall fixes the problem. then you know it's not a compatibility problem.

when reinstalling you have the option to remove preferences choosing not to remove preferences vs removing will help narrow the files being corrupted.
