Animate crashing constantly

Adobe Animate help!

Animate keeps on crashing when I manually trace my jpg character sketch. It's a process I've done multiple times throughout my career. 

Animate version: 24.0.12

Computer: MacBook Pro 15 inch 2017, 3.1 ghz quad-core intel core i7

Ram: 16 GB DDR

OS: Ventura 13.7.8

Hard disc use: 940 GB of 1TB

I just downloaded an older version (23.0.15) out of frustration to see if that works better.

Anybody have an idea?
