Animate December Update Crashing

Updated and now, if I open any of my projects that I was working on in the previous version, it crashes

I think I'll wait a few weeks for this stuff to get ironed out

Hi Klaus, sorry for the delay.

More detailed description of problem is here (though I still not sure if AS3 or HTML Canvas (I think the latter)

Am not sure as to why you are facing this issue, haven't heard of anything similar previously. Just to be sure, can you install the previous update and see if the files are opening with that version?

Hi

What means crash when you try to open one of your projects

- does Animate close down, exit?

- does Animate stay open but is unresponsive?

- in Animate, can you create a new file?

- do you get any error or 'report this problem' message?

What is your OS? Windows, MacOS?

The projects you are trying to open, are they

- AS3 projects?

- HTML/Canvas projects?

I had similar problems by the sound of it and downgraded back to the previous version 19.0. But I can say something definitive first after you answered these questions.
