Animate does not work on MS Edge browser

Is there something I'm missing here? My Apple laptop broke down and so I'm stuck on this cheap PC laptop for a weekend. I load up my portfolio site and everything plays way way way sluggish. I have a set that freezes on a particular frame unless I clikc the banner...?

Is this common knowledge? I'm at a loss. I want to be alarmed but work I did years ago won't play well on it.

Anyone, is this news?

Nevermind, please delete post - it's because the laptop was low on power (for some reason)...Stupid/lame. This brand new HP laptop can't run browser animations in Edge if it's low on power.
