Animate entering XY cordinates 3D position and view gives back random numbers

Hi, If i postion say a 3d MC on the stage and enter XY pos. in "3D position and view" panel, to say 200 x and 400 y. press enter, and the XY numbers jump to a complete different number. very frustrating because i cannot use the 3D feature at all... (apart from incrementing with my arrow keys to reach the correct number... ;-(

    Do you mean they jump to sub-pixels (from 100 to 100.44 or something) or that they jump wildly (from 100 to 5283) or some crazy number)?

    Yes, that is exactly it.

    Ive tried an earlier version of animate (19. something) and that seems more steady. (but there is no function of rotating a 3d object. only XYZ not degrees) Anyway, it seems the latest animate is very buggy...
