animate is constantly crashing when copying a simple vector drawing from Illustrator ?! basic brush stroke 

running on macvbook pro OS15.2 - all adobe updates installed ..

    Can you try using a different brush(es) in Illustrator and see if the problem persists? What about testing with a basic shape? I wonder if any copy/paste from Ai to An causes this.
