Animate not detecting keyboard events

Hi,

I have code that was working fine with keyboard events, but now doesn't. Have tested with two different files that work on other computers, so not a coding issue. I have tested a html/javascript alert and the keyCode displays fine so not a laptop issue. It looks like an Animate is not picking up the keyboard events on my laptop. Any suggestions?
