Animate not responding

I got the adobe creative cloud on my computer, and installed animate. The first time I used it, it worked perfectly fine, but now whenever I open the app, it doesn't work. whenever I click on something, it doesn't respond, and makes that DING sound. I can't even close the app, I have to shut down my computer if I want to close it. I've even tried uninstalling, and reinstalling the app, but it didn't help. I use a lenovo yoga 730 laptop. It might be that I can't use animate on this particular computer, but keep in mind that it worked perfectly the first time I used it.
