animate opens off screen

Animate is opening but I can't access it- I'm using a macbook with a shared monitor- 3/4 of the opening window is on the monitor and 1/4 on the macbook and when I try to move it to one or the other it doesn't respond, just clicks as if there is a message window open though I don't see one.  Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks!  I was able to shrink the window and see the pop up, hit return and gained functionality again.

      Try to press Esc on the keyboard.

      It might help to get rid of the window that you cannot see.
