Animate project AS3 will be still used ?

My first question is: Do you think people will still create desktop app/animation with Animate in AS3 regarding what's happend with Flash and Air ?

And my second question is what is the difference (and what is the best way) between Exporting in Air or Windows/Mac Projector ?
I have difficulties to find some clear infos.

    an air app needs to be installed.  a projector file is an executable that does not need to be installed.

     

    and both should continue to work (especially if you embed the runtime in air apps).
