Animate randomly closing

While working in Animate CC this morning it has taken it upon itself to close randomly while I am working.  The last two times it happened while I was using sliders working with gradients.  Does anyone have a similar experience.

    This doesn't sound like a wide-spread problem. If restarting your computer doesn't help, I'd uninstall/reinstall Animate and see if it continues.

    I tried bot of those, but no luck. I am just saving constantly, and the occurrences seem to have slowed.

    restart your computer and continue working.

    save your fla with increasing version numbers appended to your fla file name so you never have to worry about losing a significant amount of work, if that's an animate crash while saving.
