Animate tool box not working automatically

I'm a newbie, I just installed animate cc 2020. I've been having issue with my tool box. For instance if I want to draw a line or draw a rectangle, it doesn't show until I click the fluid brush icon before it will display my drawing on the canvas. What can I do to change this because it is really frustrating? Thanks

Hi mate,

See if updating your OS, video driver and Animate to the newly released 20.0.3 will help.

Alternatively, I would suggest you try the previous version 19.2.1 which is as good (or rather as bad) as the current one. You won't really miss out on anything, but the drawing will most likely work and will be able to start having some fun. You can install the older version alongside the current one, so you don't need to uninstall first.

There have been a few people here posting about the same issue and the response from adobe so far has been 'crickets'.

Version 19.2.1 of animate is not installing on my system. It requires windows 10 version 1703 at least.

What is your OS?

Animate 20 has even higher requirements.

If you are running an older OS (like Win 7) you can't exect these new programs to work at all. Find a copy of Flash Pro CS6 and you'll be happy.
