Animate v24 (any version) crashes when creating a new document

I downloaded Animate for the first time and it crashes whenever I create a new document. I've tried v23 with no luck. My drivers and PC are up to date. All other Adobe products work fine. Any suggestions?

12th gen Core i7

32 GB ram

Nvidia RTX A1000

1TB SSD

I can't do anything. The program crashes as soon as I try anything after the welcome screen.
