Question

Animate won't export full video

Hey!

The file I export is always corrupt in the sense that the beginning of the animation works up to a specific point when it just freezes. Everytime I reexport or export just the end to make amends for the "missing" part of the video, there's still a random amount of animation that just doesn't render. (I can tell because the file sizes vary even when exporting the exact same thing.) Why?? My settings are all default (it's all German on the image, I'm hoping you can still unterstand 🙊), the canvas is regular UHD. Even when I check the SWF movie, the whole video plays. I've been searching up and down the internet for a solution – can someone help me??

Thank you so much!

If the SWF plays fine It's hard to see how the video won't render properly, likewise with size variations between exact same exports.

Can you upload your .fla file to a server and share it to take a closer look?

Hey Mario!

Thanks for the reply – I unfortunately don't know how to export a .fla – does the SWF and mp4 file suffice (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/19vCgl9QlGnUWRIqqRXPdxLRhoCIXTw9I?usp=sharing)? As you can hopefully also see with the mp4-files (two different exports of the same file), at 1:07 and 0:52, the animation freezes. This freezing phenonema is the same at other times in other exports of the same or similar animations.

Also, when I import the mp4 into Davinci Resolve, the frozen part of the animation clip (but sometimes the whole clip – it just all seems weird) is marked as "media offline". But swf seems fine!

I can't wait for your response :).

in animate, when you click save, you're probably saving a fla.
