Animated object not moving smoothly

If your intended export target is a video, you should be using the AS3 document type, not Canvas. Canvas is for interactive web content.

Also I don't see any blur in the video you posted.

There is no issue.

Or rather - there are two subjective issues:

1. Your lack of experience with animation, which leads to unrealistic expectations.

2. How human eyes perceive the rapid change of a succession of high-contrast static geometric images.

If you want the movement to appear smoother, you need to apply directional blur, possibly slow it down, lower the contrast or up the frame rate to 60fps or even higher.
