Applying perspective to text?

Hi,

I am wondering how to apply perspective to a dynamic/static text field in CS3? I have tried a few ways, but I can't get farther than skewing.

This is the pane on which I would like to place the text. Could someone tell me if there is a way to get the same perspective?

Thanks!!

add your textfield to a movieclip and use the distordimage class (use google) to distort the movieclip.  (be sure to embed your font)

Wow...I was searching and found this  Sandy 3D engine, but this is scary!! I have to admit that my knowledge in flash is really limited, and all what I need is to give some perspective to a static movie clip. I really don't want to animate it. Is it really that complicated? I tried to search for some AS3 fla examples trying to grab the part I need, but I don't even know what I have to look for.

I could solve it using a pre made bitmap, but that would not look as good as a text in flash.

help ....
