Asset Warp Tool creates bitmaps when generating mesh

Trying out the new Modern Rigging system in the latest update to Adobe Animate.  Unfortunately, when applying the mesh to my vector artwork, it converts it to a bitmap and changes the with of the strokes.  Since it's a bitmap, there's no way to edit it.

Also, it appears that you can't apply a mesh to a symbol anymore.   Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @Shaneyshaneshane Animate auto converts vector to bitmap for better warping and tweeing. However if you want to retain vector then you can turn off this in Preferences > Drawing > Asset warp Tool. Asset warp can be applied to shapes, drawing objects, groups with shapes or drawing objects and bitmaps. Symbols are not supported.

    Thanks!

Of course I forgot to proofread.  "With" should be "width."
