I’ve been using flash mx for about 2 months now, and a reoccuring problem is that when i try to test my animations, it plays the audio and the video together, but when i try to pause it, only the video pauses, while the audio continues until the very end. Just curious to see if anyone else had this problem in the past and knows how to fix it. Thank you for your time.

It's not a problem, it's Flash doing exactly what you told it to do. If you want audio and the timeline to be locked together, you have to set the sync mode to Stream instead of Start or Event.

If macromedia flash 8 is anything like flash mx, then it might be in the propreties bar when you're in your audio layer.
