Background Music Being Weird?

Hi guys. So, I'm pretty new to animate, and I was making a fan animation. I tried adding a background song to it that would keep going throughout the whole animation but it keeps being weird. For example my song has lyrics. So if I put in the song bad guy by Billie Eilish it would sound like this:

White, White, White, White, White

Shirt, Shirt, Shirt, Shirt, Shirt

And the beat would go:

Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da

Bum, Bum, Bum, Bum, Bum

It would keep repeating itself before moving onto the next beat/lyrics.

Sorry this is super weird but I have no idea how to otherwise describe this. Any ideas on how to fix this? I havne't encountered anyone with the same problem.
