What programs can I use to replace Adobe Animate (since Adobe is ending support)? I need to save in html format. Even some non Adobe programs.

To be fully clear though, they are not ending the program. Here is the most recent (public) statement:

Animate is in maintenance mode for all customers. This applies to individual, small business, and enterprise customers. Maintenance mode means we will continue to support the application and provide ongoing security and bug fixes, but we don't plan to add new features. Animate will continue to be available to both new and existing users. We have no plans to discontinue Animate. We are committed to ensuring Animate users have access to their content regardless of its state of development.

Looks like it’s even getting one of those new CHONKEY logos as well.

Good news for your question, so watch out: A new After Effects script is currently in development as a completely new alternative for motion designers who don't trust Adobe's maintenance plan for Animate and find Google Web Designer too cumbersome for creating web animations. It will be released and available shortly on aescripts + aeplugins (aescripts.com). "AE Banner Bridge" will automatically convert your compositions into ready-to-use HTML5 banners ( the exported folder structure contains complete HTML/CSS/JS/and image files). When you use it you do not have to write a single line of code and it can literally make After Effects a WYSIWYG editor for web animation/banner ads.

I use Animate when I need to make a complicated morph. This cannot be done well in any other software as far as I know. AE does only very basic morphing. Anyone know another program that can do precise morphing?

I would also like to know what options are available for the same purposes. The official recommendation is to use Adobe After Effects, but (if I am not mistaken) I do not think AE has support for html5 canvas and JavaScript.

there’s certainly no adobe app that can come close to animate’s capabilities creating canvas/html5 projects
