Hi everyone!  Question for Pro's.
What the best hardware in 2023 to work with Adobe Animate? (and AE)?

I'm working now on iMac 2019 and its recently became kinda slow.
Is is worth to update to M1 chip macs?
Or may be the time move to windows PCs?
Whaddya think?

there are fewer problems with adobe products, including animate, on pcs, but having a pc does not guarantee there won't be problems.

with macs, ventura os is more likely to have problems than monterey and m2 computers are more likely to have problems than m1 computers. ie, if you're looking to buy a new mac for use with today's animate version, buy an m1 with monterey and don't update the os.

that situation/advice may change with the next version of animate, or the one after that.  ie, it seems dicey to make a decision to upgrate a 2019 imac based on a problem that may be solvable by less extreme measures.

no matter whether you upgrade your current computer or buy another one, get at least 32mb of ram.

is your current imac slow in general, or just with animate and/or ae?

Hi. Thanks for your answer. What irritates me right now is the speed of all Adobe products actually.  Especially Animate. Its not critical, but slows down the whole working process. I'm working with Animate for already 20 years and it never was so "sluggish". File opening time, refreshing, pan, playing animation with background etc. I'm already have 32 gb ram. I was thinking may be I do need faster mashine?

if you see the slowing with a new fla, install your preferences.
