Hi all,

I just updated my Animate and Media Encoder and now everytime I want to export an MP4. The MP4 is all Black. What is happening? How do I fix this???

Hi JC,

Yes, Im using 23.0. I actually ended up fixing it by changing the RENDERER in Media Encoder from Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Metal) to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only.

Now it works. Not sure why that makes the difference.

the background will be black (if you selected 32 bit when exporting) because it's transparent.

do you have something that's not black on stage?

No, nothing should be black. It was just a blank black screen.

I actually ended up fixing it by changing the RENDERER in Media Encoder from Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Metal) to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only.
