Black screen with FLVPlayback in FULLSCREEN

I have not been able to find an answer on why when loading an external .mp4 into a FLVPlayback and setting stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN;

the .swf goes black and does not play the video.

Taking out of fullscreen makes it appear and function perfectly, as does manually placing it back into fullscreen in the chrome.

I am running a macOS 10 with FlashPlayer v 26.
